This class is great for beginners and those who wish to complement their athletic endeavors. Using the breath as a guide, find a balance between effort and ease. Increase the strength and flexibility of your physical body. Nurture your mind and spirit. Slow "flow", repetition of movement, open by "holding" postures extended periods. Yoga philosophy, pranayama (breath work) and meditation as well.

children’s yoga adventure, ages 3-12
children’s yoga adventure begins by tuning in together, connecting with the other children in the community. next we warm-up our bodies, play a game and tell a story. acting out the story, we flow from one yoga posture to another. the class ends with an art activity or guided meditation. songs and chants are used throughout the hour. parent participation welcomed!

chi gong for everyone!
Come celebrate breath and invite healing into your body! Qi gong is the art of connecting with the world around us on an energetic level and is a perfect sibling to yoga. This simple, standing form is a series of 5 repetitive slow, breath-based movements which promote the smooth flow of energy in the body. The Level One form offered here is appropriate for everyone including children who are comfortable in meditative environments. Qi gong is good for reducing stress, supporting the immune system, promoting healthy circulation, and calming the mind.

Prana Power offers unique and challenging sequencing along with attention to alignment. Focus is placed on the subtleties of the body; refining one's skill and perception in each pose.
